Appearance
Deep purple with a crimson red hue.

Bouquet
Blackberry, plums, and cassis with hints of cloves and black pepper all tied together with subtle well intergrated oak.

Palate
Rich, intense fruit-driven palate. Plums and spice upfront finishing with smooth chocolaty tannins.

Vintage Conditions
Winter 2007 was initially dry but good rains late in the season prior to budburst allowed good fruit set to occur. The growing season was warm and dry resulting in wines with good ripeness, great color, and firm tannins.

Winemaking
Each fruit parcel was selected by the winemaker and viticulturist based on fruit
ripeness and flavor profile. Multi-regional fruit selection gives the winemakers blending options. to create wines with complexity, texture. and varietal expression.

Cellaring
Can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 4 years in good conditions.
